Strategically Mirissa for whales and rarely at Kalpitiya, but definitely for dolphins are hotspots from November to April. The fanciful tourists swarm around Blue whales, Sperm whales, Bryde’s whales, Humpback whales, spinner dolphins, Risso, and Bottle-nosed dolphins which are on our continental shelves in Mirissa in the down south of Sri Lanka while dolphins largely acrobat in Kalpitiya in the upper west coast of Sri Lanka. You can see these sea giants while snorkeling, surfing or diving at Mirissa or Kalpitiya with sport club members.
