Day 1 - Visiting Gem Mines
Ratnapura – City of Gems. Visit a Gem Mining place visit a Gem Museum where you can see Sri Lankan prestigious blue sapphires, red sapphires. Shopping and many more before checking into the hotel
Day 2 - Visit Sinharaja Forest
Sinharaja/ Hikkaduwa or Galle – Early morning excursion to Sinharaja rain forest one of UNESCO world heritage sites. Your Guide will show you endemic and epidemic plants, fish, animals there in the rain forest. In the afternoon leave for Hikkaduwa or Galle among forest and paddy fields, rubber plantations. many more. Then Checking to the hotel for 2 Nights.
Day 3 - Whale Watching
Mirissa – this is optional but important. Whale/ Dolphin watching in Mirissa. (Nov – March only) Mirissa is famous for Blue, Bride, Sperm, Killer, and Pilot Whales. Certain occasions can see memorable and amazing Spinner, Bottlenose, Stripped, and Risso’s dolphins there. In the afternoon visit a Hatchery. The best place to see Giant Turtles, at the right time of year baby turtles
Day 4 - Safari In Yala National Park
Yala – After Breakfast leave to Yala national park where you have leopards, wild elephants, bears, crocodiles, and more have a safari in the evening.
Day 5 - Visit Udawalawe National Park
Udawalawe National Park/ Nuwara Eliya – After breakfast leave to Nuwara Eliya. On the way Visit Elephant Transit Home to see 450 giant/baby elephants in Udawalawe (best in May to Sept) and then to Nuwara Eliya hill country in Sri Lanka. Here tea Plants grow of rolling mountains amid streams and waterfalls.
Day 6 - Visiting Worlds End
Horton Plains/ Kandy – Early morning excursion to Horton Plains. Mostly called ‘Worlds End’. Bakers Falls, many endemic plants, and wildlife can be seen here. Amazing plugging cliffs that fall almost a kilometer. While keeping an eye out on wildlife on your way to Kandy, you will go to another world Heritage site situated, Temple of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha and Kandy town.
Day 7 - End of the Tour
End of the Tour – After breakfast or you can go to a beach for relaxation or return to Airport for connecting flight.
