Day 1 - Transfer to Sigiriya
Colombo/ Sigiriya – Arrive and transfer to Sigiriya passing paddy fields and rubber Plantations.
Day 2 - Climbing Sigiriya Rock Fortress
Polonnaruwa/ Habarana / Sigiriya – Visit Sigiriya rock fortress UNESCO world Heritage site. King Kashyapa built his kingdom and his decorated palace on top of this rock. The entrance of the rock is carved with a large lion get’s name of Lion Rock. Then you visit a batik factory to see handmade Batik. In the Afternoon you go to Polonnaruwa UNESCO world heritage site with splendid remains of Palace, temples and large Reservoirs built-in 12th Century B.D.
Day 3 - Visit Dambulla Rock Carves
Habarana to Kandy – Depart to Kandy with an en-route excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage site Dambulla Rock caves. It consists of many carves cut into a granite outcrop 160m high. Top of the rock having a magnificent view of the countryside with paddy fields, temples, rocks…etc. this was used by Buddhist monks decorative with many ornate murals and statues. Afternoon visit Temple of Tooth Relic of the Buddha, in the evening town visit and gem museum.
Day 4 - Peradeniya Botanical Garden Visit
Kandy / Nuwara Eliya – Visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden consists of 350 species of Orchids, many tropical trees, birds…etc with 147 acres. Then you visit beautiful Nuwara Eliya passing hills, tea plants, and waterfalls thru out the journey. Visit working tea plantation will give u many experiences of the story behind a Tea u drink
Day 5 - Relax on a Beach
Nuwara Eliya to Colombo: Enjoy a scenic drive to Colombo and a city tour in Colombo. After your tour can be extended your break or Relax on a Beach.
